Recipes:

Hydrating Summer Smoothie

Ingredients:

8 – 12 ounces Coconut Water

½ Cucumber

½ Stalk Celery

1 inch slice Fresh Turmeric

½ Carrot

Handful of Fresh Spinach

Pinch of Sea Salt

Directions:

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until it is completely liquefied.

Pour it into a glass and enjoy.

*I always use organic ingredients and produce from local organic farms when available. This increases health promoting potential, nutrient content and great flavor.

 

Fresh Aloe Vera and Lavender Poultice

Ingredients and supplies:

Fresh Aloe Vera Leaf

Lavender Essential Oil

Cotton cloth

Chopper/blender

Kitchen Scissors

Spoon

Directions:

Carefully cut the pointy edges off of your Aloe Vera Leaf. You can use kitchen scissors for this.

Peel off the green exterior skin to expose the Aloe Vera Gel and Juice.

Scrap the gel and juice into your blender. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Blend until smooth.

Apply the poultice to one side of a clean cotton cloth. Apply the cloth, poultice side directly onto skin.

*Before using any essential oil it’s is a great practice to research how to use them safely.

Peppermint Essential Oil Spritz

Ingredients and Supplies:

Aloe Vera Juice or Distilled Water

Peppermint Essential Oil

Spray Bottle

Funnel

Directions:

Fill your spray bottle with Aloe Vera Juice or Distilled water using your funnel.

Add 5-7 drops of peppermint essential oil per ounce of fluid. (It’s important to dilute many essential oils prior applying them directly to your body)

Seal your bottle with its spray top.

Always remember to shake your bottle before you spray. Mist your body for instant cooling relief. Avoid spraying directly in face.
